INQ is one mobile phone company that is doing things a little differently with their phones. They cater for users like you and me who feels the need to be constantly ‘plugged into’ the internet and be on social platforms like Skype, Windows Live Messenger (WLM) and Facebook. Guess what? They integrated the mentioned social platforms (and more) into the phone itself.

As such, my favourite feature of the INQ Mobile phones is the integration of social platforms into the address book of the phones. Fire up your address book, see who is online on WLM, check out their newest drunk profile pic from Facebook, call someone on Skype to laugh about the pic; all these done right in the address book.

The bad news is that the makers of the best mobile handset at the Global Mobile Awards 2009 do not have their INQ mobiles available yet in Singapore. While we all drool at the possibility of actually owning one soon, take this chance to win lovely prizes from them right here!

    The “Media player with Last.fm built in” function seems to be a clincher for me. I prefer listening to online radio, especially Last.fm. There got the songs I want to listen to. It beats having a MP3 player!
    The next function I consider important is tethering the phone to the computer, which INQ has! It is important, since I wouldn’t want to carry to separate SIM cards, devices just to fully utilise the mobile broadband plan.
    The “Email on the go” is another function that I will consider, if it allows for google apps email.

    The best function I like about this INQ mobile is that it enables simple multitasking!
    Easy access to MY favourite things like twitter , facebook , etc etc with ONE simple touch. Omg :D !
    It’s super convience . Imagine if you recieve a super important message from your friends and your outside . How to pass the message around ? Sending sms-es to all your friends would cost a bomb . With this phone ! Just a simple click to Facebook or Messenger & you can post what you want to say . Super convient !! Also , lets say if your at cab , traffic jam . Boring ! One can surf facebook , twitter or MSN to chat with friends . I’m sure that time would pass very fast !
    Also ! If you don’t use twitter , fb ..
    The phone also have Media player with Last.fm built in. With this app . I can just bring this phone out ! There’s no need for MP3 or iPod ! Super cool !

    With InQ, I’ll be able to facebook whenever i’m awake now!

    Instead of checking my facebook only when i’m on my netbook/desktop.

    It becomes easier to upload pictures I’ve taken with my phone as well~

    There are quite a few things I like about this phone. Firstly, it isn’t as complicated as other phones. It has all the popular programs and services like twitter, messenger, emails, facebook etc which most of us are using on a daily basis. It’s so convenient to just bring this phone out rather than carry a 1kg or heavier laptop out during the day (for msn-ing etc). I’m sure many would agree with me about this. ;)

    Secondly, the design looks good. Good enough for both teenagers and adults to bring it out daily for school and work. Some mobile designs are just not suitable to be use for work.

    Thirdy, I like to know the weather every now and then during the day. This makes it so much easier to check the weather. I know I wouldn’t be stuck in the rain when I’ve this phone.

    Lastly (not the last but my comment is getting too long :P ), the long battery life. It’s good to know I don’t have to charge my mobile every 4 days. ;)

    If you like to go online and can’t live without having it!

    THEN I THINK THIS PHONE SUIT U!

    After reading your entry and also at the website. I am so tempted to get one of this phone.

    & Skype.

    I think this phone simply rocks and a lot of people will like this phone!

    This is so damn awesome! Owning a INQ would mean having all means of communication and a touch to all social media!

    It feels like “Love at first sight!” Everyone, both the young and the old, would love to have one of these stylish phones! t has easy access to the functions and it is affordable as well! (:

    Whats more amazing than this?! A portable stylish phone that does wonders!

    Wow a social networking mobile phone? Awesome! I love how I can have Facebook on the go, allowing me to update my status anytime, anywhere! What’s not to love! I can see my web and mobile contacts in one place, snap a great picture with my 3.2MP camera and instantly upload it to Facebook to share with my friends! Must.Get.It!!!!!

    I like it simply because it has the look of a Berry without the cost. As coveted as it may be, i do not need all the functions they have in the BB. INQ Phones, however, still has all the social networking tools that’s necessary.

    Not to mention the boasting rights of having a phone that’s relatively new in the market.

    but sometimes, u just want a phone that looks good. Simple.

    Hello, great post! I was so tempted to get one for myself when I read your post!

    The first wow- factor that attracted me was the arty farty design of the box! Even the packaging was so unique and colourful. It certainly changed my perception of a mobile phone- its not just an object to chuck aside when you don’t need it, but it’s something to be admired and cherished. It’s a piece of art.

    What I loved most about INQ Mobile Phone was the practical applications and prices that are not sky rocking high as well! Personally, I spend an average of 8 hours on the internet each day- frantically checking emails, chatting with friends over msn, selling things on ebay, facebooking. I could save so much time and effort on checking different websites since INQ stores all of them in one inbox! My life is much more organised with these applications. That’s really incredible!

    INQ has the “looks” and “functions” all in one! I think I have fallen deep for it~

    Firstly, great looks, then functional! Since, my office has blocked all internet access, this phone will definately be useful for me to keep in touch and connect to the world when i am in the office, or aka, prison cell.. LOL….

    hey, i came across your blog from sgblogawards. i must say your post are rather entertaining and i had a good laugh reading them.

    anyway, this recent post on INQ did made me tempted to throw away my current phone and get one of INQ. they have great colours like bright yellow, black, hot pink, lime green, pretty blue and the romantic red. it is really catchy!

    apart from that, the features and functions are cool. they allow us to stay in touch with the cyber world and c’mon who would say no to it!

    besides, comparing this INQ phone which is 128g to my current lappie 1.2 KG. man, i love this phone! it is slim and thin which can slip into your pocket easily.

    (Y) phone indeed.

    Wooh! Nice and handy hand phone! Now I do not need to carry my laptop everywhere to Skype with my siblings overseas or to stay in touch with my friends on Facebook or MSN. It is definitely a new essential accessory that no one should hesitate to get, especially a girl who is always on-the-go like me :D
