As the end of the year approach, I’ll tend to see friends and family disappear for days and weeks on end. Seeing that the monsoon season has just passed in the Philippines, the time between now till the first half of next year is the best time to visit the country and you can expect cool weather while enjoying a tan at the beach or exploring the islands. The last Singapore Slingers game for the Singapore Challenge Series was supposed to be last Sunday, but due to a no-show from Sathyabama Stars, the management behind the Slingers has organized a replacement match this coming Sunday! And they did more than make up by inviting the most popular pro-team in the Philippines, Barangay Ginebra!!!

Almost every Filipino team that has graced the indoor stadium for the Singapore Challenge Series has ensured near sell-out crowds and great atmostphere from the basketball loving Pinoys and the game this Saturday evening will be no exception!
